Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in a child-focused environment? We’re looking for a dedicated KS2 SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team in a High Wycombe SEN school, where each child’s unique abilities are nurtured, celebrated, and developed to help them thrive.
In this full-time position, you’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to provide specialised support to children with a range of learning needs. Our approach centres around understanding each pupil’s individual potential and fostering their ability to make meaningful progress in a supportive, inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored assistance that respects each child’s specific learning style, needs, and communication abilities.
  • Use tools and strategies to empower pupils, allowing them to express themselves confidently and make choices that positively impact their school experience.
  • Help prepare learning resources and set up classrooms to reflect an engaging, child-centred approach.
  • Fostering relationships built on trust and understanding. Support students as they develop both academically and socially, creating a space where they feel seen, valued, and empowered.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with SEN children, especially in a KS2 setting, is ideal.
  • Strong communication skills and patience to work alongside children, families, and staff as collaborative partners in each child’s growth.
  • A caring, resilient approach with a commitment to supporting children through their unique learning journeys.
  • A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain a new one.
  • A Level 3 childcare qualification is preferred, but not essential.
The schools goal is to support children in reaching their potential and to foster a positive experience of the community both within school and beyond. If you’re inspired to make a difference in the lives of children and to be part of a team that values each student’s individual journey, we would love to hear from you!

All applicants will need to provide the relevant qualifications for this role as well as the right to work in the UK. We at Supply hive are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children. And so, we do undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE.
