As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to students with a range of needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech and Language challenges, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment and help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to stay calm and adaptable in challenging situations
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN and promoting their well-being
  • Relevant qualifications in education or social care are desired, but not required
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service and up-to-date safeguarding training.
This role offers the chance to grow within a supportive, community-focused school environment in Central/West High Wycombe, with the option for a permanent position for the right candidate or flexibility if preferred.
