As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant in an SEN school, you’ll work closely with experienced teachers to support children with autism in both their learning and personal development.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the delivery of engaging, tailored lessons that cater to individual learning needs
- Providing 1:1 and small group support during classroom activities
- Helping to manage sensory needs and support students with their behavioural challenges
- Supporting students' social, emotional, and personal growth
- Collaborating with a wider team of staff to create a positive, structured learning environment
- Experience working with children, ideally in a SEN setting
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
- A passion for helping children with special needs reach their full potential
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
- An enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Safeguarding training.
Pay: £90-99.00 per day, PAYE & Holiday pay.
