Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons: Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils in Year 1.
  • Collaborative planning: Work closely with your phase team to plan and deliver the curriculum, with minimal individual planning required.
  • Assess and monitor progress: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Differentiate learning: Tailor lessons to meet the needs of pupils with diverse abilities, including those with additional educational needs.
  • Classroom management: Maintain a positive and safe learning atmosphere, promoting good behaviour and respect among pupils.
  • Parent communication: Engage with parents and carers, providing updates on pupil progress and involving them in their child’s learning journey.
  • Contribute to the school community: Participate in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing CPD to continuously improve your teaching practice.
