About the Role:
We are currently seeking a committed and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in a primary school in Windsor. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the pupil receives the individualised attention they need to thrive, both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a specific pupil, helping them access the curriculum.
- Assist in managing any additional learning or behavioural needs.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning materials.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support the pupil’s personal development.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive environment.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a 1:1 or SEN setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting individual learning needs.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
