We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 2 to join a friendly school near High Wycombe. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide personalised, one-on-one support to a student, ensuring they receive the guidance and motivation needed to succeed.
In this position, you will support a pupil with a range of needs, working alongside teachers and staff, you’ll deliver customised interventions, encourage positive behaviour, and help the pupil achieve their individual goals in a caring and structured environment.
Responsibilities:
🔵 Offer tailored support to students, both individually and in small groups in Key Stage 2, to aid their academic progress.
🔵 Work closely with the teacher to plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons.
🔵 Adapt and develop learning materials to cater to the varied needs of students.
🔵 Cultivate positive, supportive relationships with students to foster their development.
🔵 Track student progress and provide insightful feedback to the teaching team to enhance future lesson planning.
Requirements:
✅ A true passion for helping children grow and succeed in their learning.
✅ Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, though not essential.
✅ Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
