Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey? A welcoming primary school in Slough is seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 child with Autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support, helping them thrive in a mainstream classroom.
Responsibilities
📚 Provide individualised support to a child with autism, adapting learning strategies as needed
👩🏫 Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans
🌟 Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
📝 Encourage social and emotional development through structured activities
Requirements
✔️ Experience working with children with autism or SEN (preferred)
✔️ Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
✔️ Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and support staff
✔️ Right to work in the UK
