In this role, you'll work closely with students aged 11-16, supporting their learning and personal development. You’ll collaborate with teachers and other professionals to remove barriers to learning and create a positive, supportive environment where students can thrive.
Responsibilities:
✅ Provide 1:1 or small group support, focusing on individual student needs.
✅ Assist in delivering a tailored curriculum, including vocational subjects.
✅ Encourage positive behaviour and help students develop self-regulation strategies.
✅ Support students’ transition into education, training, or employment pathways.
✅ Work closely with staff to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
🟡 Experience working with children and/or young people with SEN or SEMH needs.
🟡 A calm, compassionate, and patient approach.
🟡 Strong communication and teamwork skills.
🟡 Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
🟡 A valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
