Are you a passionate KS2 Teacher looking for a welcoming and collaborative school environment? A friendly and well-established two-form entry primary school in the heart of Reading is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team. With a strong sense of community and a supportive teaching structure, this school is within walking distance of Reading train station, making it easily accessible. They offer excellent CPD opportunities and can support ECTs through their training.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will work closely with a fellow class teacher, planning collaboratively through phase meetings. The role is open to those interested in additional responsibilities, offering the chance to develop leadership skills within the school. You will have the opportunity to work in an inclusive and engaging learning environment where staff well-being and professional growth are prioritised.

Responsibilities 
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support the KS2 curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with the parallel class teacher to plan and deliver lessons
  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports all pupils
  • Take on additional responsibilities within the school if desired
  • Participate in CPD opportunities to enhance your teaching practice
Requirements 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS2 or a strong desire to develop in this key stage
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and engage in phase meetings
  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities if interested
  • Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and training
