In this role, you'll be a vital part of a collaborative team that helps students re-engage with their education and develop essential skills for the future. You'll work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a safe, supportive learning atmosphere where students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational plans, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
- Work one-on-one and in small groups to encourage students to engage positively with their education.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support, helping students manage and regulate their emotions constructively.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive the right support at the right time.
- Stay calm and supportive in challenging situations, ensuring the well being and safety of all students.
- Experience working with young people, ideally those with SEMH needs or similar challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team.
- An enhanced DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding training.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- £90-99.00 per day PAYE, plus holiday pay.
