Are you a passionate and dedicated individual looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people? We are seeking a KS4 Teaching Assistant to join a team in a nurturing and inclusive school environment, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
In this role, you'll be a vital part of a collaborative team that helps students re-engage with their education and develop essential skills for the future. You'll work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a safe, supportive learning atmosphere where students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational plans, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups to encourage students to engage positively with their education.
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support, helping students manage and regulate their emotions constructively.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive the right support at the right time.
  • Stay calm and supportive in challenging situations, ensuring the well being and safety of all students.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people, ideally those with SEMH needs or similar challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team.
  • An enhanced DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding training.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Pay & Benefits:
  • £90-99.00 per day PAYE, plus holiday pay.
