As a Year 3 Class Teacher, you will take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. Planning is carried out collaboratively during phase meetings, ensuring a shared and supportive approach. Marking is done live in the classroom, allowing for immediate feedback and reduced workload outside of teaching hours. The role requires strong classroom management skills and a passion for encouraging young learners.
📚 Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Collaborate in phase meetings to plan engaging and effective lessons
- Provide live marking and feedback to support pupil progress in real time
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere to support students' development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil success
- Engage in school activities and contribute to the wider school community
✅ Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in KS2
- Strong lesson planning skills and a creative approach to teaching
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and inspire young learners
- A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
- Right to work in the UK
