We are currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team in Slough and Windsor. This role will primarily involve providing cover support to various classrooms within our schools. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of classes while supporting both teachers and children in their learning journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom support to teachers during their usual TA's absence
  • Assist with implementing lesson plans and engaging students in learning activities
  • Support students with their classwork
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a respectful and safe atmosphere
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the educational needs of the children
  • Communicate effectively with children, teachers, and parents/guardians
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to work well with children
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on short notice
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is a plus

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
