What You’ll Do:
🎓 Engage and Inspire – Deliver dynamic and engaging Spanish lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, using a range of innovative techniques that make learning both challenging and fun.
🎓 Cultivate Language Proficiency – Guide students through the complexities of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, helping them build the confidence to communicate fluently.
🎓 Cultural Connection – Infuse your lessons with authentic cultural experiences, whether through music, film, or literature from Spanish-speaking countries, to deepen students' global awareness and understanding.
🎓 Prepare for Exam Success – Support students in achieving their best in GCSE and A-level Spanish exams, providing tailored feedback and strategies to help them excel in their assessments.
What We’re Looking For:
🔑 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Spanish, and a proven track record of success in teaching the subject at secondary level. Whilst QTS is preferred, it is not mandatory and the school is willing to be flexible for the right candidate!
🔑 Secondary Classroom Experience – Expertise in teaching Spanish across KS3-KS5, with a deep understanding of the MFL curriculum and a commitment to helping students succeed in their exams.
🔑 Passion for Language and Culture – We need someone who brings Spanish to life in a way that excites students and encourages them to see the value of multilingualism in today’s global society.
🔑 Strong Communication & Classroom Skills – A proven ability to manage diverse classrooms and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
