As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support students with a range of special educational needs. Your role will involve providing one-to-one and small group support, assisting with classroom activities, and helping to create an engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs.
π Responsibilities:
- π« Support students with SEN in their learning and development
- π€ Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans
- π¨ Assist in creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- π Help with classroom management and behaviour support
- π¬ Encourage communication and social skills development
- π§βπ« Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- π Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
- π Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- π‘οΈ Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- βοΈ Right to Work in the UK
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
