As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers and therapists to support students in their learning, communication, and personal development. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential in a supportive and structured environment.
Responsibilities ✅
- Provide tailored support to students with additional needs, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual learning plans.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
- Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment.
- Support students with personal care, mobility, and communication where needed.
- Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, MLD, SLD, PMLD preferred).
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
