A fantastic SEN school in Slough is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This welcoming and well-resourced school caters for pupils aged 2-19 with a range of additional needs, including Autism, moderate and severe learning difficulties, and profound and multiple learning needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers and therapists to support students in their learning, communication, and personal development. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential in a supportive and structured environment.

Responsibilities ✅
  • Provide tailored support to students with additional needs, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
  • Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual learning plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
  • Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment.
  • Support students with personal care, mobility, and communication where needed.
Requirements 🎓
  • Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, MLD, SLD, PMLD preferred).
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
