Supply Hive are on the hunt for a Teaching Assistant in Maidenhead due to start ASAP on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent. The successful candidate will be passionate and understanding when providing support and guidance to students. You will be working with primary school aged students who come from diverse backgrounds. This may involve working with children with special education needs so candidates will need to be inclusive of different learning environments. They should have a hard working mentality and be encouraging and resilient.
Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with the class teacher to support children with their social, emotional and cognitive learning.
- You will be responsible for creating a safe and secure learning environment for all students.
- Work with a team to develop activities/ learning materials and contribute to school improvements.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to learn new approaches and teaching methods
- Enhanced DBS
- Eligibility to work in the UK
