Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, providing essential classroom support and working closely with teachers to ensure all students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with learning activities and promote their personal and social development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to planning and evaluation sessions.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (preferred).
- A passion for working with children, especially those with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification) are desirable but not essential.
