As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children across different year groups. Your primary focus will be working with students with SEN, adapting to their unique needs and providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience. Responsibilities
👩🏫 Supporting students with SEN across various year groups, adapting to their individual needs.
📚 Assisting class teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
🤝 Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment to encourage student engagement.
✨ Promoting social and emotional well-being, helping students develop confidence and independence.
📝 Providing feedback to teachers and contributing to progress reports for parents and carers.
Requirements
🎓 Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
🌟 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
🤔 Adaptability and patience to meet the varied needs of students.
✔️ A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
🛡️ An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
