As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide classroom support, assist students with their learning, and help create an engaging and nurturing environment. You will support pupils of varying abilities, including those with special educational needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students.
- Assist in the preparation of lesson materials and classroom activities.
- Encourage and promote positive behaviour and attitudes towards learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Support students with additional needs, fostering their independence.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- The Right to Work in the UK.
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
