About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in the classroom, providing both one-to-one and small group assistance. You will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment, helping students build confidence and achieve their potential. This role is ideal for someone with a caring nature and a commitment to supporting children's development.
Responsibilities 📌
- Supporting Learning: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- One-to-One Support: Work with individual students who require extra help.
- Classroom Management: Help maintain a focused and positive classroom environment.
- SEN Support: Assist students with special educational needs, adapting support as needed.
- Encouraging Progress: Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and well-being.
- Experience working with children in an educational or support setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and positive approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A willingness to support students with different learning needs, including SEN.
- Relevant qualifications or a desire to gain experience in education.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
