You'll be working closely with teachers and therapists to help students develop independence, communication, and confidence. Whether it's in the classroom, during physical activities, or through structured interventions, your support will play a key role in their progress.
Responsibilities ✅
- Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups, keeping learning engaging and active
- Encouraging participation in practical and movement-based activities
- Helping to create a structured and supportive learning environment
- Assisting with social and emotional development, promoting teamwork and resilience
- Working closely with teachers and therapists to implement learning strategies
- A positive, proactive approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Experience supporting children or young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
- Ability to work well in a team and stay calm under pressure
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
