As a Year 1 teacher, you will play a crucial role in establishing the roots of each child's educational journey, guiding them through a pivotal year of growth and discovery. Responsibilities
🧑🏫 Delivering the Curriculum – Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum.
📊 Pupil Progress Assessment – Regularly assess, and keep accurate records, providing feedback to both parents and pupils.
🤝 Colleague Collaboration – Work in partnership with fellow educators, and parents to provide an exceptional learning experience and ensure the success of every pupil.
🤗 Supportive Classroom Culture – Nurture a secure and welcoming atmosphere where every pupil feels valued and included.
💬 Parent Communication – Work closely with parents and carers to support development
Requirements
🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential for the role
📝 Primary Teaching Experience – Ideally with KS1
💡 Classroom Management Skills – Build a respectful and positive learning space
🔐 DBS Enhanced Check – All applicants must have or be willing to obtain a DBS check
