Are you an experienced educator passionate about guiding pupils through their final year of primary education? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Reading. This role is set to commence in January, offering a chance to make a real difference in a pivotal stage of a child’s education. Although this is a full time role there is flexibility if you would prefer a part time role.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a key role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school. You will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of the class, ensuring each child reaches their full potential. Responsibilities:
📚 Plan, deliver, and assess lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation.
🌟 Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils.
🤝 Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent support for students’ progress.
🎓 Monitor and track pupil performance, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.

Requirements:
🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
📝 Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a solid understanding of the Year 6 curriculum.
🌟 Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
✅ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
