We are seeking a passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant in KS2 to join our team at a school located near Slough. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a pupil, ensuring they receive the personalised guidance and encouragement they need to thrive and succeed.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in KS2, you will be essential in offering individualised support to a pupil with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language challenges. Collaborating closely with teachers and staff, you will implement tailored interventions, promote positive behaviour, and assist the pupil in reaching their personal goals within a supportive and structured environment.
Key responsibilities:
🟢 Offer tailored support to pupils, either individually or in small groups, to aid their academic growth.
🟢 Work closely with the teacher to create and implement engaging, interactive lessons.
🟢 Adapt and create educational materials to cater to the varied learning needs of pupils.
🟢 Develop meaningful, supportive connections with pupils.
🟢 Track the pupils progress and provide valuable feedback to the teaching team for informed planning.
Requirements:
✅ A true passion for supporting children's development and learning.
✅ Previous experience in a similar position is helpful, but not essential.
✅ Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
✅ Willingness to pursue ongoing professional growth opportunities.
