A fantastic new opportunity to work in a school that provides vital support to primary-aged children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs has come to light! The school is committed to helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to thrive.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, helping pupils overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
✅ Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
✅ Assist in delivering an adapted curriculum to meet individual needs.
✅ Help pupils develop self-regulation and social skills.
✅ Contribute to enrichment activities like music, sports, and community events.
✅ Work as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.

Requirements:
🟡 Experience working with young people with SEMH or SEN needs.
🟡 A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
🟡 Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
🟡 Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
🟡 A valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
