As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, helping pupils overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
✅ Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
✅ Assist in delivering an adapted curriculum to meet individual needs.
✅ Help pupils develop self-regulation and social skills.
✅ Contribute to enrichment activities like music, sports, and community events.
✅ Work as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
🟡 Experience working with young people with SEMH or SEN needs.
🟡 A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
🟡 Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
🟡 Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
🟡 A valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
