Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the Key Stage 1 curriculum and promote academic and personal development.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support the learning needs of children and ensure that all children are able to make progress.
- Assess progress through ongoing assessment and regular feedback and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to provide updates on progress and offer support and guidance as needed.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
