About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with their educational and personal development. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support, helping children to engage with their learning and reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate, and eager to make a difference in young lives.
📚 Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) in their development
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Help with classroom management and organisation
- Work closely with teachers and parents to track progress
- Previous experience in a school or SEN setting is desirable
- A caring and patient nature, with strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being
- Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
