Role Overview:
As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll be part of an exciting adventure, helping our little explorers learn, grow, and discover new things every day! 🎨 You’ll work alongside a wonderful team, creating a fun and supportive space where every child can blossom. 🌷 This is a term time only role that has the flexibility to be full time or part time. Working hours would be 08:30 - 16:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help plan and deliver fun, creative activities that support the children’s learning and development based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Be a friendly face to our little ones and their families, building strong and positive relationships.
- Provide loving care and support throughout the day, whether it’s snack time, story time, or outdoor adventures!
- Encourage children’s curiosity and growth by creating opportunities for learning through play and discovery.
- Keep an eye on their progress, sharing smiles, stories, and any concerns with the Senior Nursery team.
- Ensure the nursery is always a happy, safe, and clean space for everyone.
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
- Experience working with little ones in an early years setting.
- A big heart and passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A positive, playful attitude and a desire to learn and grow too!
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
