About Us: We would like to welcome you to our warm and friendly partnering nursery (based within primary school), where we believe in creating magical moments for every child! 🌟 Our team is passionate about nurturing young minds and helping little ones grow in a safe, caring, and fun environment. We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic Nursery Assistant with a Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification to join our close-knit family. 

Role Overview:
As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll be part of an exciting adventure, helping our little explorers learn, grow, and discover new things every day! 🎨 You’ll work alongside a wonderful team, creating a fun and supportive space where every child can blossom. 🌷 This is a term time only role that has the flexibility to be full time or part time. Working hours would be 08:30 - 16:00.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help plan and deliver fun, creative activities that support the children’s learning and development based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Be a friendly face to our little ones and their families, building strong and positive relationships.
  • Provide loving care and support throughout the day, whether it’s snack time, story time, or outdoor adventures!
  • Encourage children’s curiosity and growth by creating opportunities for learning through play and discovery.
  • Keep an eye on their progress, sharing smiles, stories, and any concerns with the Senior Nursery team.
  • Ensure the nursery is always a happy, safe, and clean space for everyone.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with little ones in an early years setting.
  • A big heart and passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A positive, playful attitude and a desire to learn and grow too!
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
