Teaching Assistant (Primary School) – Reading

We are looking faseor a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Reading. This class-based role offers the flexibility to work across any year group from Year 1 to Year 6, allowing the school to tailor the position to your unique skillset.

If you enjoy variety and adventure, this role could be perfect for you, as it includes occasional travel to different locations—ideal for those who love exploring new communities while making a real difference in children’s lives!

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN), helping them achieve their learning goals.
- Assist with classroom management and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment.
- Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, helping to create a warm and supportive school atmosphere.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or similar setting is preferred.
- A passion for supporting children’s educational development.
- Flexibility to work across different year groups (Year 1 to Year 6).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude.
- Willingness to travel to schools within a 45-50 minute radius, making the most of each new setting and experience.
