A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Reading is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school is committed to nurturing every child’s potential and provides a friendly, supportive environment for both pupils and staff. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with an immediate start.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support for pupils, helping to enhance their learning experience. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and making a positive impact on young lives.
Responsibilities
🌟 Support pupils in their learning on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
📚 Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
🛠 Create and adapt resources to engage pupils and meet their learning needs
🤝 Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging their development and confidence.
🎯 Help monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Requirements
🙌 A passion for working with children and supporting their education.
📖 Experience in a classroom setting is desirable but not essential.
🗣 Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
🎓 Relevant qualifications (or a willingness to undertake training).

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
