Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN unit within a school in Bracknell. This full-time role begins in January and offers the chance to work closely with children who thrive on tailored support and encouragement.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Working alongside experienced teachers and specialists, you will provide targeted interventions, encourage positive behaviours, and help students achieve their individual goals in a nurturing and structured environment.

Responsibilities:
🌟 Support students’ learning through tailored activities and 1:1 or small-group work.
🗣️ Assist with communication and social interaction skills to help students build confidence.
🤝 Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
🛠️ Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the well-being of all pupils.

Requirements:
💡 Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
✅ A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
📚 Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
🌟 A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

If you carry out a long-term SEN TA role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
