About Us: Supply Hive are currently supporting a number of schools across Maidenhead that are looking for an experienced Teacher who can support them with flexible cover options. The role is part-time, but the school is happy to be flexible if you would prefer a full-time position. This role is due to start ASAP, but they would consider a September start for the right candidate.
Job Description: As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of schools, covering short-term absences and providing continuity of learning for students. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for flexible work or an early career teacher eager to gain valuable classroom experience, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and age groups.
- Following school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support the school community.
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and promote academic progress.
- Completing administrative tasks, including lesson planning and marking, as required by the school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching in UK schools is desirable but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
