We work with a range of schools across East Wokingham, ensuring they have access to high-quality teaching professionals to cover short-term absences and ad hoc needs.
We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our pool of educators for ad hoc days. As a Supply Teacher with Supply Hive, you will have the opportunity to work in various partnering schools in the East Wokingham area, delivering lessons across different year groups and subjects as required. This role is ideal for flexible and enthusiastic teachers who enjoy variety in their work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to various year groups, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Adapt to different school environments and classroom settings quickly and efficiently.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school or create appropriate lesson plans if necessary.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as required.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and administration.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching across different year groups.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and situations.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
