Supply Hive are working with a vibrant school on the west side of Bracknell, who make their children their priority. They are an OFSTED Good school that aim to motivate and inspire children each day to achieve endless possibilities. The school are a small 1 form-entry and therefore have a big focus on ensuring everyone feels welcome and is given the support needed to succeed in their roles. This role will begin as temporary but does have a likely chance of going permanent.
You will be need to be a hard working and act as an inspirational figure that is able to motivate and encourage children at all levels. The school are looking for someone who works well in a team and are able to collaborate well with the class teacher to plan and prepare for lessons and activities. You will often be working with small groups of children, leading sessions and interventions. You should be able to drive students in an effective and supportive manner as well as deal with children with challenging behaviour and needs. You will often be supporting children with their literacy, numeracy and IT skills so you should have a good concept and knowledge of these subjects.
To qualify for this role you should have relevant recent experience working with children in a professional setting. You should also have an enhanced child DBS that is on the update service as well as the Right to Work in the UK. We will be looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive and encouraging nature.
