Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
- Support the development of pupils' literacy and numeracy skills through interactive and engaging teaching methods.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure each child’s personal and academic development.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management, encouraging positive attitudes and good manners.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience or enthusiasm for teaching Year 1 or early primary years
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework and Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A passion for child development and a commitment to nurturing young learners
- Ability to work well within a supportive team environment
